The term of office is two years after which you can be re-elected.
Branch Council hold their meetings three to four times a year in Wellington and at the annual conferences held around New Zealand.

If you are interested and hold IFE qualifications get nominated.

Institution of Fire Engineers NZ Branch - Branch Elections

The NZ Branch wishes to advise that nominations are being called to fill vacancies on Branch Council from the 2009 year. Four existing Branch Councillors are due to retire, these are; Phil de Joux, Bruce Irvine, Brian Davey and Kristin Hoskin. Brian and Kristin are eligible for re-election and offer themselves for renomination.

Nomination forms are available on the NZ Branch website (www.ife.org.nz) and will also be sent out with the newsletter in the next few days. Nominations close on 9 July 2008 and will be followed by elections if more than four are received.
